No. 37 - Wheels.

The stage in which we assemble the wheels can be easily divided into at least 6 sections, you need to assemble a set of 6 wheels, rims with spokes, four of the same size and two larger ones.

In order not to artificially stretch the relationship, I will show the effect in this one episode.

It must be admitted that assembling a rim with 72 spokes is not the easiest :) especially at the beginning, when you need to feel the correct way to install individual spokes at different levels. I assembled the first wheel for 3 hours, but the last 3 wheels took 30-40 minutes :)

Once you master the assembly, it shouldn't be a major problem, but the effect after assembly is really great.

How to fold correctly? - in my opinion it should be done as follows:
1. We install B spokes in the hub, then place the hub on the calibrating stand in the first half of the rim, then use tweezers to pull out the spokes in the rim one by one, slightly turn the hub and then tighten the spokes - the spokes should fit perfectly into the holes. Finally, screw on the mounting ring.
2. We put spokes A in the hub, now it's easier because we already have the hub set in the middle, first we put the spokes in one direction and then in the other - we also do this with tweezers, gently tossing them in upwards, they should rotate and fit properly into the gaps on the rim.
3. If the spokes A are positioned correctly, stick them to the rim with instant glue and wait until it dries, otherwise you will not be able to turn the rim and apply another layer.
4. Take out the calibrating stand, turn the rim upside down and put it back on.
5. Move to the last bag withCspokes and put on the first lower row. To make it easier for yourself and not to tighten the spokes too much, just twist the middle hub slightly using pliers, but only one half - the one in which the spokes will be inserted. The spokes should drop in quite easily, the next tier of spokes will also be easier to put on. Finally, we turn the center hub again, tightening the spokes.
6. Turn the rim and place the protruding loose ends of the spokes into the gaps in the rim. They should fit and practically fit into the gaps on their own.
7. Install the steel separating ring and press the spokes with the other part of the rim, which is then screwed together using 4 screws.

The rim is ready, the tire is mounted after warming it up in very hot water.
